Designed for efficient cleaning and circulation of water in small family pools, the Micro Delfino 33 pool pump is characterised by its high durability and reliability. Its hardened polypropylene body and AISI 316 stainless steel components guarantee a long service life and minimal maintenance.

Easy installation and maintenance

The pump is designed for easy installation. We recommend installing this pump below the pool level so that it does not have to pull water higher up on the suction side. Displacement of the pump on the solar panel is not an issue.  If you are installing above the surface, we strongly recommend the use of a backflow preventer on the intake. A hair pre-filter and easy access to the cleaning basket make pump maintenance quick and easy.

Which pool pump to choose

The table below can help you choose the right pump for your pool. The pool should flow through the pump about once every 3 hours, so that you can filter for 6 hours a day outside the hottest days.

If the pump will be close to the pool (within 2-4 metres) follow the first column.

When installing the Micro delfino pool pump you could use:

You can connect the pump to the pool circuit using, for example, 50mm tubing or flexi hose 50mm. Screw-in fittings. We also recommend inserting a pool-ball-valve 50mm before and after the pump, especially if the pump is below the pool level. This will prevent the whole pool from leaking out when handling the pump. Use pvc pool joint adhesive

to adhere.

Installation:

The pump must be mounted on a solid and smooth surface.The pump must be properly
fixed using the two attachment holes in the pump leg using two suitable
screws or threaded bolts to prevent noise and oscillation that can
interfere with the pump's operation.</p

The pump should be protected from possible flooding, proper ventilation should be ensured and
freeze should be avoided.If the pump is installed outdoors, it should
be protected from rain.

It is recommended to have closing valves on both the suction and pressure sides, so that the pump can be removed if necessary without draining the entire pipeline.</p

The suction pipe must be at least the same diameter as the pump inlet. On the pressure side, it is
recommended to connect a pipe of the same diameter as the pump outlet.
The suction pipe must be laid with a slight incline to the pump to prevent the formation of
air cushions.

After winterizing the pool it is recommended to put the pump in a dry area with a constant temperature (garage, etc.), this will extend the life of the pump, it will not rust as in a wet sump by the pool when it is cold in autumn and freezing in winter.
