Important tips for using Fix and Leak

FIX A LEAK : is a compound concentrate designed to repair leaks in virtually all materials - foil, concrete, shell, tiled pools and tubs.

Seals holes up to 3mm in diameter.
As a sealant, it can be applied permanently.
1l pack is usable for up to 80m3.
If the leak has only been reduced but not completely eliminated, repeat the process again.

Warning - leaks in the suction pipe (from skimmer to filtration)
Leaks on the suction side are usually identified by leakage of aerated water from the return
poolside jets. It is necessary to reverse the direction
of flow to ensure that the leaking material is penetrated by the pressurized material.Under negative pressure, the fix and leak will not settle at the leak location!
VERY IMPORTANT: After the suction line leak has been repaired, it is absolutely necessary to separate
the suction branch from the repaired line for at least 72 hours. This is the amount of time that the
FIX-A-LEAK needs to properly mature and cure.
Miscellaneous Leaks:
If you suspect that water is leaking through individual elements inside the pool (lights, stairs, jets, bottom) then:
Stop the pump. Apply FIX-A-LEAK directly to the site of the leak using an elastic bottle whose contents
can be squeezed out (similar to ketchup).
Allow the product to cure for a minimum of 48 hours before restoring circulation.

NOTE: FIX-A-LEAK is thoroughly tested. Directly in the field and in a wide variety of
weather conditions, it has proven effective in repairing leaks.
FIX-A-LEAK has also demonstrated excellent preventive maintenance properties by forming a coating on
the relevant surfaces, which then protects them from corrosion.

HOW TO USE Fix a leak

* Shake thoroughly before use*

If cold or unable to shake, place the entire bottle in warm water for a few minutes
1. Before adding FIX-A-LEAK to the water, secure the FILTER-SAND FILTRATION bypass (set the circulation to the pool at the six-way valve). If the fix-a-leak gets into the sand, glass or zeolite, it will seal it!!!
Alternatively, you can remove the sand, glass or zeolite from the container.
2. Turn on the pump and slowly add FIX-A-LEAK with a skimmer, or
add to the pool in the areas you have identified as affected.
3. After adding FIX-A-LEAK, adjust the suction to the main outlet. If this is not possible, an alternative
is to use a suction pump, which you place in the deepest part of the pool and allow to suck normally. However, you leave circulation to the pool at the valve.
4. FIX-A-LEAK is very heavy and as such will sink to its lowest point quite quickly. Therefore
it should always be stirred after 4-6 hours while the water is circulating to soften it. This is done either manually with a pool brush or mechanically using an automatic
dryer that you throw into the pool without a basket!!!
5. Recirculate the water until the leak stops.
6. Mark the water level in the pool with a line and check after 2-3 days to see if the water is no longer leaking.

7. Even if you find that the water is no longer leaking, allow the product to work for another 24-48 hours
to properly cure. This process takes 72 hours - 1 day of circulation, 2 days of standing.
Then resume normal filtration.
8. Repeat the entire process as needed.

After three days, the residual fix and lake can be sucked out into the sand, and the sand can then be properte.
If you see deposits on the skeleton, drain the water and with a damp cloth, remove all residual
medium from the surface. Refill the bath after three days.

CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children.
The agent is a severe eye and skin irritant. Therefore, take care not to allow it to come into contact with eyes,
skin, or clothing. It is harmful or fatal if swallowed. Avoid contamination
of food. Empty containers should be rinsed thoroughly with water before disposal.
FIRST AID: In case of eye or skin contamination, immediately apply running water to the affected area. Do not spare it and rinse for at least fifteen minutes. If the eye is involved,
seek medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before further use. In case of swallowing, drink milk, egg white, gelatine solution. If these are not available, drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention immediately.
