The essential helper for clean water
A drop-in chlorine and pH tester is key to getting the right values in your pool. Its ease of use and quick results make it a handy helper for daily checks.
Accuracy and simplicity
With the tester, you can quickly find out the current water condition and, according to the results, you can immediately proceed to adjust the values with pool chemistry. The red and yellow indicators make it easy to determine the necessary adjustments.
Recommendations for use
The tester is used to test the free (active) chlorine and pH value of the pool water. To be able to keep your pool water crystal clear, you can't do without a quality tester. Always measure the pool water values first. If the test results are not within the normal range (ph 6.9-7.4 ; Cl 0.3 - 0.7), then treat the pool water with pool chemicals. Always adjust the pH value to the desired value first using pH+ or pH-. Only then adjust the chlorine value ( only increase the chlorine value, if the chlorine value is too high, do not decrease it, it will decrease in a few days). Chlorine is applied only after pH adjustment because the effectiveness of chlorine outside the recommended Ph value decreases rapidly. It is possible to buy replacement test drops for pH and chlorine test.
Instructions for use:
1. Rinse the tester chambers with the water you will check.
2. Fill them to the top with the water to be tested(from the pool).
3. Chlorine test - add 5 drops of REACTIV CHLOR (bottle with yellow cap).
4. pH test - add 5 drops of REACTIV pH (bottle with red cap).
5. Put both stoppers on the test chambers and stir repeatedly.
6. After a while, compare your coloration with the scale of Cl and pH values.(check the values immediately after shaking, not after a few minutes, the results would not be true)
Recommended values.
Note: Water should be drawn 30 cm from the edge of the pool and 30 cm below the surface.
Chlorine test to determine if there is enough chlorine in the pool to kill bacteria and algae. The Ph test determines the pH of the water (acidity, alkalinity).
Important: Conduct the tests in the shade and early morning or late evening before adding chemicals. Store the tester in a dark and cool place. Keep the test chambers clean and dry.
