The Badu Magic 6 pool pump is made of highly durable fiberglass-coated polypropylene, ensuring its longevity and resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Its inherent self-priming capabilities make it ideal for installation up to 1.5 m above the water surface, allowing for a wide range of placement.
Performance and efficiency in one
With a flow rate of 6 m3/hr and 230V, this pump is rated for medium-sized family pools. The high power output of 0.4 kW and efficient energy use of 0.25 kW ensures that your pool water is always clean and fresh. The maximum water temperature for the pump is 35°C, which is ideal for most pool applications.
Easy installation and maintenance
The Badu Magic 6 pump is designed with ease of installation and maintenance in mind. Its compact size (478 x 185 x 275mm) and pre-installed 220V forked power cable make it easy to install and connect. The pump body and diffuser made of glass fibre reinforced polypropylene ensure that the pump will be durable and reliable in the long term.

The pump is equipped with a hair pre-filter that allows for easy inspection and cleaning, increasing its efficiency and reducing the need for frequent maintenance. The pump body and diffuser are made of highly durable material, ensuring long life and corrosion resistance.
The pump is self-priming and can be installed up to 1.5 m above the water level (however, we always recommend the use of a backflow preventer on the suction when the pump is above the water level).

Which pool pump to choose
In the table below we can select the right pump for your pool. The pool should flow through the pump approximately once every 3 hours, so that you can filter for 6 hours a day outside of the hottest days.
If the pump will be close to the pool (within 2-4 metres) follow the first column.
This pool pump is then recommended for pools with a volume of 15-25m3.

When fitting the Badu magic pool pump you could use:
You can connect the pump to the pool circuit using, for example, 50mm tubing or flexi hose 50mm. We also recommend inserting a pool ball valve 50mm before and after the pump, especially if the pump is below the pool level. This will prevent the entire pool from leaking out when handling the pump. Use pvc pool joint adhesive
to adhere.
Installation:
The pump must be mounted on a solid and smooth surface.The pump must be properly
fixed using the two attachment holes in the pump leg using two suitable
screws or threaded bolts to prevent noise and oscillation that can
interfere with the pump's operation.</p
The pump should be protected from possible flooding, proper ventilation should be ensured and
freeze should be avoided.If the pump is installed outdoors, it should
be protected from rain.
It is recommended to have closing valves on both the suction and pressure sides, so that the pump can be removed if necessary without draining the entire pipeline.</p
The suction pipe must be at least the same diameter as the pump inlet. On the pressure side, it is
recommended to connect a pipe of the same diameter as the pump outlet.
The suction pipe must be laid with a slight incline to the pump to prevent the formation of
air cushions.
After winterizing the pool, it is recommended to put the pump in a dry area with a constant temperature (garage, etc.), this will extend the life of the pump, it will not rust as in a wet sump by the pool when it is cold in autumn and freezing in winter.
