ASTRALPOOL Action 10 is a new generation of chlorine tablets designed for maximum effectiveness and ease of use. Each puck-sized tablet contains 84% active chlorine and offers a comprehensive solution for pool water maintenance. The ingredients in the tablets not only provide disinfection, but also fight algae, improve water clarity and ensure a long-lasting release of active ingredients.

How to dose?

For effective use of ASTRALPOOL Action 10, one tablet per 20 m3 of water is sufficient. The quantity is ideally adjusted to effectively maintain the concentration of free chlorine in the water for 7 - 10 days, depending on conditions such as air and water temperature, intensity of sunlight or pool load. For smaller water volumes, the tablets can be split.

Safe application

The tablets are designed to be added to a float, skimmer, or tablet dispenser that is placed in the water circulation system upstream of the filter. It is important that the tablets are not thrown directly into the pool to avoid damaging the surface or causing bleached spots. The ideal chlorine content of the water is 0.3-0.7 mg/l and the pH should be maintained between 6.8-7.4.

Product formulation and active ingredients:

Biocidal product. Intended for sale to the consumer. Tablets 200 g of special formulation for the destruction of bacteria, viruses and microorganisms in swimming pool water. The tablets also act as a preventive measure against algae and to maintain water clarity. This complex product provides 10 effects to maintain the quality and hygiene of pool water.

Contains: minimum 90 g/100 g trichloroisocyanuric acid, 1-3 g/100 g copper sulphate, 1-3 g/100 g aluminium sulphate and 3-5 mg/100 g boric acid.

Instructions for use and dosage:

Initial Dosage: after reaching a free chlorine level of 0.6 g/m3 with fast dissolving organic chlorine (CTX 200/GR)apply 1 tablet (200 g) of Action - 10 for every 20m3 of pool water volume.</p

Additional dosage: 0.5 - 1 g Action-10 per 1m3 of water per day with the pH at the desired value of 7.2 - 7.6 so that the free chlorine content does not exceed 0.6 g/m3. The free chlorine content of the water may vary depending on the operating conditions of the pool, the water temperature and the level of pool contamination.

Place the required amount of Action-10 tablets in the skimmer basket. Then put the filtration device into operation. It is essential that the entire volume of the pool is filtered daily.

NOTICE: The product can only be used in pools with filtration equipment.

After applying the product, it is necessary to check the concentration of free chlorine in the water with a ph and chlorine tester. If the free chlorine content is higher than 0.6 g/m3, wait or partially neutralize the free chlorine with a neutralizer (CTX-12)  and use the pool only after the Cl value has fallen below or to the indicated level.

For all pools, water should be changed regularly to avoid increased mineralization and cyanuric acid content. The maximum permissible concentration is 25 g/m3 (check with a test kit). Regularly measure the bound Cl (chloramines) content and superchlorinate with CTX-200/GR at a concentration of 0.3 g/m3 or higher.

Caution: Follow the instructions for use. The product must not come into direct contact with pool liner, plastic or pool coating, it may discolour these materials and cause white spots. Do not mix with other chemicals. May only be used for water treatment in swimming pools.

Vaporizing. Harmful if swallowed. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause respiratory irritation. Highly toxic to aquatic organisms, with long-term effects. If medical attention is required, keep product container or label handy. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid inhalation of dust. Avoid release into the environment. IN CASE OF EYE INJURY: Gently flush with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if fitted and if they can be removed easily. Continue rinsing. Dispose of contents/packaging as hazardous waste. Releases toxic gas on contact with acids. Warning. Do not use together with other products. May release hazardous gases (chlorine).
